about: "THE EARTH" is an illustrative paraphrase of Nicolas Lancret's oil painting of the same title from the rococo era, around 1730. Honoring his intricate details and harmonious compositions, I've reimagined the scene with contemporary characters and settings, trying to shed light on a more earthly-connected view of life quality - which may differ quite a bit from the view and values back then....
